JMP 1 which located in the northern region of Surabaya city, built in the year 1993 and operated in the year 1994. JMP 1 also located in one of the historical place in Surabaya known as "Jembatan Merah" where a patriotic fight of Indonesian army against Dutch army happened in that bridge at 10 November 1945.
Since 1812, Jembatan Merah and Kembang Jepun (area attached to Jembatan Merah) has been known as the central business district in Surabaya that served for regional market of eastern region of Indonesia, JMP 1 is build as the wholesale center. JMP 1is the first stage establishment developed out of three stages establishment planned by the company. With the total saleable area of 65,000 m2 on top of 22,500 m2 property, JMP occupied with 750 kiosks and 2,504 m2 of open space booth.
